Question

I am going to paint my bathroom and I was reading something about a technique in painting where you use glaze and mix with you paint to make a texture type of painting style that they call washing. If anyone has any tips on the process I am open for suggestion.

Colour wash
The tinted scumble glaze should be applied as above over your eggshell basecoat...and then brushed over again in random directions using a larger brush (4"}

heres a link that explains how to mix the scumble glaze.
There are a number of other effects that you could achieve with the same mixture..
