Painting bathroom sinks

There are paints available for painting bath fixtures and services which will do this for you. From the standpoint of long-term durability this tends not to be a viable option because the paint is constantly exposed to moisture, soaps, and cleaning chemicals.

painting bathroom sinks (or tubs)

You certainly can paint porcelain or porcelain like items, but you have to use a two part epoxy paint. As far as I know there is still one available made by Klenk's.........probably have to look for it at a "legitimate" paint store (as opposed to hardware or home center). Draw backs are that is has quite an odor when it is drying, and if you were to use it in a shower area (for instance) the shower or tub is not to be used for a couple of days after painting (make arrangements with your next door neighbor - to use their shower in the mean time!!!!!!!!!!! lh
