Unhappy Painting walls

Ok I am painting the walls med. grey and the ceiling white. I have tried everything to get a clean line at the point where the ceiling and the wall and meet... Should I put up molding?

Hey jaman...most folk can attain a straight enough cutting line when doing the walls, but if you're having trouble, you can try a couple of things...if the ceiling is smooth, and you care to do it, tape the ceiling off, then paint the walls, if it's a textured ceiling, paint it last, and tape the walls, straight edges seems ok, but paint will always bleed behind them...if holding the brush flat against the wall to cut it is causing troble, then use the side of the brush as your cutting tool...more control that way...but if you take your time, cutting up to the ceiling will be fine friend...keep the faith and you'll do it!
