Question painting bathroom tiles

Is it recommended to repaint bathroom tiles? And if so, is there a certain paint that would work better than others? The tiles would be getting wet, and I'm not sure if the paint would adhere to the tiles, or even come off whenwet.

Most paints are not designed for 'immersion', but many people do paint tile, including the wall inside the shower. Nothing lasts forever, but preparation is vital. Scuff-sanding will always improve adhesion. Clean them well with TSP (degreases and burnishes the surface), allow to dry well, then prime with a very good adherent primer such as Bullseye 1-2-3, Fresh Start, Aqualock...topcoat with your paint of choice...if possible, allow a day between each coat...oils will resist moisture penetration longer than latex...individual results will vary, but sometimes it beats staring at pink or green tiles eh?

Thumbs up Thanks KeithP

I appreciate the advice. I think I'll give it a shot.
