How to stain cabinets???

My kitchen cabinets are already a light brown/ yellowish looking wood stain. I want make them a dark cherry stain , with chrome handles. How hard would it be to stain them cherry,,and what steps do i need to take??

Stain removal on vinyl siding

I have a widow living in my neighborhood that I am trying to help out by fixing up her home. The major problem at this time is the iron stains on the vinyl siding. This comes from the old sprinkler heads in the yard. The stains are fairly large, V shaped and light brown in color. Does any one know how to remove the stains without the use of toxic materials?Read More
