Dresser
I just wanted to know what is the best way to paint a dresser. And what do I use to paint with so there are no streaks in the paint. And what type of paint. Thank you!

Ok, here we go...for 'no streaks', use a foam roller and brush...the type of paint and the 'best way' can be answered as soon as I know what is on the dresser now. Paint? Oil or latex? Stain with a varnish or polyurethane? Veneer?
Use this thread to know what type of paint you have, if painted already...

Let me know please.

You're welcome Michelle....
So we'll assume then it is solid wood...therefore I'd like to see you prime the piece with a good oil-based primer, (penetrates the wood fiber really nice and you can put a latex paint over it, yes) after you remove any sanding dust with a damp rag, allow to dry before priming, leave 24 hours to dry, then paint with a latex paint, sheen level of your choice. The 'shiner' the paint, more scrubbable, but not everyone scrubs, so a pearl or semigloss would do fine. Too shiny and it looks 'cheap'. There you go.
