How do I get paint off brick?

I am painting my house and I have gotten some paint on my bricks. What is the best way to get that off?

Thanks,
Senna

wire brush

IF they are just splatters, try a stiff wire brush.

If you knocked the can over, scrape off what you can.

You can try a product called goof-off.

"Paint stains can generally be removed with a gel-type commercial paint remover or with a strong solution of the powderized cleaner, trisodium phosphate (TSP), mixed with water. TSP is sold at paint and hardware stores. Mix 2 pounds of TSP in 1 gal. of water. When using either of these removal materials, wear rubber gloves and eye protection. Apply the remover and let it remain in place long enough to soften the paint, then scrape the area clean. Rinse away any remaining residue to finish the job."

Always read and follow product directions carefully. Brick is porous and it may be impossible to get paint out of pores.
