Window painting
#1

I have the old, ugly 'run of the mill' aluminum sliding windows at my home that I wanna revive. I want to paint it.
Anyone ever done this?? What would be my best choice of paint?? I'm thinking about priming it with Zinsser 1-2-3 and apply an BEHR exterior paint......What's the most suitable brand/method for this application??
Thanks in advance.

Painting aluminum storm windows
Windows will have to be thoroughly clean before beginning the project. Prime with a 100% latex primer. Follow with a good quality latex topcoat from the same manufacturer as the primer. This way you will be sure there won't be any incompatibility problems. I prefer Benjamin Moore's exterior paint. As with most product manufacturer's, each tends to make a good, better, best line of products. Buy the best you can afford.
