The tongue and groove boards on my front porch are starting to curl up in one section (about 6 boards, about 12" up) of the floor. It appears they used plywood of some sort to use as the subfloor. I'll mention too, that there a slant to the porch as it is now. Is there a better way to create a subfloor that will allow the water to drain easier? I can only assume there's a water drainage problem that's making it curl. Thanks ahead of time for your suggestions!!

Problem: My husband and I are painting the walls in a room that were a disaster to begin with. The previous owners of the home a) had used drywall mud to "texture" the wall to make is look like woodgrian--(at least that's what we think they had tried to do) and b) then painted dark brown.... anyway, the walls were sanded, skimmed, sanded some more, skimmed again-- now they are pretty smooth and ready to paint. We primed. Primed a second coat. Looking good. Third coat of primer--(because the brown is still showing thru a bit)-- I told you it was DARK brown--(oh, and also a midnight blue under the brown)--- so here's the problem-- the 3rd coat of primer started to bubble-- not really bad, but enough to notice. Well, we figured since we were painting the final in OFF WHITE- it would probably cover. It did, BUT... now, each and every wall bubbled... and I mean badly. Anyone ever have the same problems, and have any ideas what to do to fix it, aside of ripping down the walls and re-hanging drywall? Much appreciate any suggestions. thanks helga
