Wallpaper glue

What is the best way to get all of the glue off the wall? If painting afterward do you need to get all the glue off?

Thumbs up wallpaper glue

Dear,Donl All you need is a spray bottle with water in it ,spray an area not to large let set a few minutes. Then take a flat scraper and ease across the area do not gawg the sheetrock paper. If this happens don't worry, when your wall has dryed just put some lightweight spackling on the spot and your good to go.When your walls have dryed spackle, sand, prime, paint.I hope this helps you good luck.

Dear Don,
When I was removing wallpaper and the wallpaper glue, I used a squirt bottle and scraper also, but I also added vinegar to my water. I did about 1/4 vinegar to 3/4 water. This worked really well for me.
