Thumbs up

Your best bet for carpet or any other flooring is to put down drop cloths. Thay tend to stay put better.Just make sure thay are all the way up to the base bord and covering good.Ihope this helps you.

all you need is a roll or 2 of duct tape.apply the tape around the entire room at the edge of the baseboard.if you plan to paint the baseboard let the tape ride up on the baseboard an eighth inch or so depending on the thickness of the carpet, then get a putty knife or scraper and push the tape into the seam where carpet meets baseboard.this will insure a good paint tight seal.also after you lay out plastic, tape it at a few places to the tape you just layed down it will keep the plastic from pulling away from the wall as you walk on it. ps..use duct tape on carpet and blue tape or white easy mask on other floorings.
