painting painted paneling
#1
How do you paint paneling that has already been painted? Should we prime over the existing paint or would sanding it do the trick?
#2
Assuming that there are no areas on the paneled wall that need additional attention, you would paint them as you would any other pre-painted surface.
Primer would only be necessary if you are changing from an oil based to latex, or if you are also changing the surface texture.
