Question

I just built a storage shed and used T111 as the siding. The trim around the doors is standard pine 1X4's. I used Wolman 'natural' stain and preservative as I have on my deck. The difference in color from the pine to the T111 is pretty noticable. I was thinking about taking rough sandpaper on a palmsander over the trim to make it more absorbant, and hopefully darker to match the siding. Yes or No. Thanks

I thought that it was a shed!

Roughing up the texture will help some, but a darker stain would be less work.
