Hi, we have just installed used railway sleepers for use as decking in our back yard and have discovered
that in hot wether [yes we do get the sun over here] the soft wood sleepers ooze bitumen which apparently
the wood is treated with. Does anyone have any idea how or if I can stop this, although we like the rough
appearance of the wood I am prepared to sand and treat the wood but with what? tanks for any ideas. marko
