We are putng a 4 x 8 sheet of panel that looks like tile in the bathroom. We are installing it horizontally and will put wall paper above it. Will Liquid Nails be enough or do I need to use actual nails as well? My concern is the finished look.

If you use any nails, and there are spline joints in use, place the nails closest to the joints.

The nails only hold the panel until the glue dries.
