wall and ceiling paneling - suggestions for the "rustic" look?
hi all. i'm currently building a small cabin at my deer camp. the cabin itself is 14'x28' and is built. it's got a roof pitch of 10:12. it's got a 10' bedroom on the right side with a loft above it. it's got a bathroom and a kitchen area on the left side with a loft above that. in the center is the living room with vaulted ceilings (roughly 15-16 feet to the very top).
now, i haven't yet put anything on the walls and the ceiling besides the batte insulation. i really want a rustic look. i'm probably going to put T1-11 rough plywood on the walls - the kind with the vertical grooves every 4". as for the ceiling - i have absolutely no idea what i'm going to do. i need something fairly easy - as i would rather not have to spackle and sand like with drywall. i've considered putting up drywall and then putting wood trim at every joint. anyone ever do anything like this? how did it turn out. any suggestions?
thanks,
