Question Cedar Wood Siding

I am repairing the beveled cedar siding on my house.

Question 1: What type of nail is best, so that it does not cause stains on the wood and will not pull out?

Question 2: The electric compnay meter is screwed onto the siding and I need to unscrew it so the meter will pull away from the wall about an inch or two. Does the electric company do this work or do I need an electrician?

1. Use stainless nails if you are really worried about discoloration. I am not sure what sizes they come in though.

2. Call an electrician... Electric company basicly is responsable for the meter itself and the wire from the pole to the bugs.
