cove moulding install ???

in the pickle with this...how do I cut a cove moulding correctly.
Have the first piece up which ends in a 90degree cut in the corner, how do i cut the next cove piece to butt into this 90o degree cove piece. I tried to cope it what a mess. then I tried to cut a compound 45o and a coping saw to cut out the rest...not very accurate

note that this is not crown moulding install but cove moulding which is mdf 3 1/4 " wide....step by step assistance is surely appreciated. THANKS

Exclamation cove moulding install ???

First thing throw the copeing saw in the tool box. Go down to the local rental store and get a power compound miter saw. If this is not an option a hand miter box is cheap and can be purchased at most home improvement stores for $25 or so. use 45's in corners. Copeing is for getting it to fit a counter or fireplace. Things where it dead ends. Don't reinvent the wheel. Save a headache for your self and get the right tool for the job.

good luck
