Cutting bead board

I will be installing bead board in my kitchen. I will need to cut the panels creating butt joints and to fit around window trim. What is the best way to cut bead board so as not create a rough, "chewed" edge?
Thanks
Bob K.

Turn it face down and cut with a skil saw with a carbide blade.
