Crown install with window all the way to ceiling...

I have an arched window that extends almost all the way to the ceiling ; the apex of the arch is about 2inches from the intersection of the wall and ceiling.

The crown i'm using is installed on a line 3in down the wall from the previously mentioned instersection. If I install the crown as I have been, it will overhang the window opening by an inch or so and look ugly.

What does a person do in this circumstance? Thanks in advnace.

You have 3 options.

1). End the crown short of the window, putting a double 22.5 return on each end.

2). Run the crown right past the window, and install a filler (extension jamb)behind the crown that will butt up to the window in some manner.

3). Have the yahoo who designed this problem get the window removed and reinstalled about 4 1/2" lower. Unless the "yahoo" is you, in which case, ignore #3!
