Plastic Wall Panels

I'm trying to repair some plastic wall panels that are glued to plywood. The product is called Lascoboard, sometimes referred too as FRP wall panels or sanitary wall panels. Does anyone know a way of removing bubbles or bulges from behind the board?

I should specify that these are not necessarily "bubbles" but they are bulges where the contractor did not get the panels rolled into the glue properly.

I'm not familiar with those panels but if you paid a contractor - he should be responsible for fixing it.

Would nails draw the bulges in?

It is supposed to be a seemless wall panel system, similar to those you see in a cheap trailer home bathroom, so nails only go in if you have something to hang on the wall. I guess I could find an excuse to hang something everywhere there is a bulge...

The contractor is actually a friend who I would hate to make rip down everything and start over.
