Foam to drywall glue?

What is the appropriate kind of glue for attaching foam (fake beams on a ceiling that look like wood) to drywall? My mom has had these on her cathedral ceiling for years (at least 30 or so) and they have fallen down periodically. What would be a good product to adhere the foam to the drywall ceiling? Apparently the last glue that they tried when two pieces had to be taken down during the construction of their addition didn't work too well.

Thanks,
Neil

PL300 foamboard adhesive should work well for you. It doesn't contain solvents that will eat the foam like most construction adhesives do.

I agree with the PL300. Not sure how PowerGrab would work, but it is instant and has good holding strength.
