painting interior doors
Question: I am painting a bedroom a mustard-like color, with off white trim around window sills. Do I paint the door (inside facing the bedroom) the same color as the sills (the trim color) OR paint the door the same color as the walls? Also, if I paint the door the same color as the walls, what about the trim around the door?
Confused.
Thanks for any professional advice!

.... and on the door and casing, you paint what's seen from that room. If the door swings into the room, paint the 'toe' edge [where the latch is] along with the room's side of the door. The door jamb would get painted up to the door stop. If the door swings away from the room, paint the 'heel' of the door [where the hinges are] The door stop, jamb and casing that is all visible with the door shut - go the trim color.
You are using an enamel for the trim paint, right?
