Liquid nail removal from paneling?

We are edoing the kitchen. There is a layer of drywall over the paneling. I am trying to figure out a way to remove drywall and liquid nail without damaging the paneling.

Welcome to the forums!

I doubt it can be done

What type of paneling is it? Careful scraping and maybe scrubbing with a solvent [work safe!!] might get it done but even then I'd expect the paneling would need refinishing. If the paneling is thick enough that might work.

Welcome to the forums.

Why are you worried about the paneling? Is that what you intend to have on the walls when you're done? I'm guessing the glue will have ruined the paneling even if you could get it off completely without pulling away some of the paneling. Personally, I'd rip the paneling out with the drywall.
