Crown angles for a direction change.

So I think I have crown molding angles down pretty good for a spring 38° installation, however, I'm having an issue when changing directions, 90° down, to go around an exposed beam. To do this I'm going to have 2 inside angles and 2 outside angles that are all going to change direction before it gets back up along the ceiling. What mitre angles should I be using for this? I'm assuming the bevel angle will remain unchanged.

Welcome to the forums! Do you HAVE to go around the beams? It may look well to just terminate the crown and pick back up on the other side of the beam.

I would wrap the ends of the beam with flat trim, then butt the crown against that.
Either thick or thin trim would look good IMO.
Cutting angles like what you want could result in a lot of fire wood.

I agree! IMO installing crown to wrap around the beams wouldn't even look good.
