I just baught a 20 year old tutor style house that need a little work I am replacing some or all of the 1x5 and 1x6 boards and mill work on the front of the house and am not sure weather to use white pine, cedar or PT. What do you think. They will be painted if it makes any diffrence which brings me to my next question. Oil or Latex

Definitely go with pressure-treated. White pine and even cedar, will eventually rot.
Wood pressure-treated by brand name companies (such as Weyerhaeuser, G-P, etc.) has a 50-year limited warranty, only costs about 30% more than untreated pine, and much less than cedar.
