Hi all
I am in the process of cleaning 30-35 year old wood paneling. It is dirty, greasy and dusty. I started to use
orange glo cleaner. My concern is that the orange glo
leaves somewhat of a shine almost oily. I plan on painting the paneling once cleaned. and I need to know if
this would affect the paint. that is, make the paint crack once paint is applied. I also would like to know if anyone
has a suggestion for a cleaning solution. Many Thanks!

Dawnie,
A TSP solution (trisodium phosphate) is a good prep cleaner prior to painting. You can find it at good paint stores. Read the label carefullly.
