I can tell you how to get the codes. Make sure the ignition is off. Find the diagnostic connector under the hood. They should be labeled under the cover. Jump the TE1 and E1 terminals. Turn the key to run but don't start the vehicle. Count and record the flashes. Turn the key off and remove the jumper. There is a place to find out what the codes mean. I found these while looking up stuff for a vehicle I was working on at a site I saw in one of the moderators info, Joe I think. The site is:

Type "1991" and then enter "pi". On the next screen pick your model by clicking on the right version and engine for your truck and go back to the top and click on the word here. Then select Trouble codes and enter your code. After you click on the right version it might take you to a screen that says something like no info available. Just back page and go to the top where it says to click HERE to continue and it will work. Good luck!
