Silent Horn

The horn in my wife's '92 Escort Wagon has ceased functioning. When I press the steering wheel horn button, all I hear is the click of a relay. Do any of you folks have any suggestions about what the problem may be? Truth to tell, I don't know where the horn is even located in this car.

In the front of the car or in the fenderwell.

Bring direct power to the horn from the battery. If it sounds, the horn is OK. If not, check the ground (tightness of the mounting bolt). Otherwise the horn is wiped out.

Thanks, Joe, I'll give that a try this afternoon.
