Auto Repair

I have a 1999 Ford Windstar van and my driver side window will not go down any more. The van only has about 37,000 miles on it and I would like to see if I can fix it myself. Can you help me? I think it must be the switch as all the other windows operate correctly from the drivers side panel. Also, I don't know whether it is a coincidence or not, but my cruise control also has broken. I actually had it going for a brief period and then it stopped working all together. What do you think!!!! Thank you in advance for any help you can give to me. Chris F.

Can probably get Ford to cover it under the factory warranty as you are only 1000 miles out of warranty.

Barring that, see the links and posts in my signature file below.
