no power at cold start up

Hi joe, still didnt get any info on my problem. Its a 93 camry, auto. trans, with the v6 3.0 motor. upon first start up i have a problem accellerating, the motor just boggs down. in about less than a min. it takes off and runs fine, any help will be greatfull.

Hi joe, i did reply to the postsaying that the engine does bogg down upon acceleration. anyway, how do i check for a restricted exhaust system.

If you tap on the catalytic converter and you hear things rattling around in there (do it cold), the converter is breaking up and it's shot.

Not likely though as the car runs fine only except this one time.

Again, I suggest you start with the links and posts in my signature file. Autolibrary is pretty good reading even if all you want to do is learn a bit about what you are doing on the car.
