'75 Chevy 3/4 ton 4x4 350 ignition?

1975 Chevy 3/4 ton 4x4 w/350. ~15,000 miles on rebuilt.

After truck is driven for 15-20 minutes the engine begins missing and sputtering when under load. The engine will idle fine. I replaced plugs and fuel pump to no avail.

Thanks
South

next time the problem occurs disconnect the vacum advance if it runs better you likely have a bad pickup coil in distributer, but could likely be bad plug wires or cap and rotor as joe said.

Sounds like cap/rotor problem. Look for hairline crack in cap.
