Windshield Washer Pump-98 Durango

The Windshield Washers on my 1998 Durango SLT - 318V8 Auto OD Trans. have stopped working.

I used to hear a low noise when I hit the button and they would squirt onto the windshield,(motor or pump noise i assumed) but that is no longer happening.

No washerfluid is dispensed any longer from either side of the windshield. The windshield wipers still function normally, so I figure the switch in the steering column is still working as it controls both functions.

Could it be anything but a bad pump/motor?

Where is this pump/motor located and is it something a somewhat handy person can replace. Approx. Cost?

It is likely in the wiper motor itself or in the reservoir bottle.

Check autolibrary.org as I have it bookmarked below. They might have the R&R procedure.

No information on R&R available at the site you bookmarked.

A quick call to any Chrysler dealer's parts department will reveal its location in a jiffy. Then you'll know where to look.
