car overheating

I hve been having problems with my car overheatin (possible radiator leak) and the car will not start now. What may be the possible problems? The car is a 1992 Mercury Topaz 4 Door 4 cylinder

if you have been running your car while it is overheating, that is a no-no. Did the temperature ever go into the red? You could have anything from a bad battery to a bad engine, need more info, what kind of noise, etc does it make when trying to start. See now, you have 2 problems, and before you even bother to fix the overheating prob, you have to fix the not starting prob.

Hopefully you didn't blow a head gasket.
