Clutch Safety Switch Repair Cost?

Thanks for recognizing the problem with my 1990 Geo Prism standard drive as being a faulty clutch safety switch. My new question is does anyone have an approximate ballpark guesstimate on the cost of having a replacement installed? Is it something that any "backyard fo-it-yourself car repair" guy could do or should it be done by a certified mechanic? Thanks in advance for any answers you can provide me. This has been a great bunch of helpful people on this site.

My labor guide allows .3-.5 hours to replace the switch. It's a total cake job. Get a Haynes manual or an Alldata DIY subscription if you're unsure of the procedure. Money well spent in either case.

The part sells for about $25 at www.gmpartsdirect.com . Possibly less from a local aftermarket parts store.
