Reading codes

Hey all,
I am working on a 97 dodge neon. My question is, I have never checked codes on a dodge before and was wondering how and if anyone could direct me to a list of the definitons of the dodge codes?
Thanks,

Brian

*Some* Chrysler products will display OBD-II Powertrain codes on the digital odometer.

Try cycling the key ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON within 15 seconds.

Watch both the digital odometer and the 'check engine' light. The digital odometer *may* display "diag" and then proceed to display OBD-II codes (Pxxxx). If it doesn't, the check engine light will flash 2 digit codes, which are virtually meaningless.

If the above doesn't work, head to Autozone. They'll read the DTCs for free with a scan tool.
