Glueing a Side View Mirror?

My 1995 Dodge Neon two door Sport was sideswiped this weekend, resulting in a broken (swinging) side-view mirror on the passenger side being held on by the cable adjuster. It ripped the mirror from the two bolts holding it on, and it would be impossible to bolt it back on. Is it possible to cement it on? Is there any other way to glue/ cement it on? Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated! I don't want to have to cut it off!

You're probably better off going to a junk yard and buying a "new" mirror and replacing it.

Fill out the parts request form on www.junkyarddog.com and try to find a used replacement.

Is there anything besides repurchasing a new mirror that I can do first or at least temporarily?

Probably not. There's an incredibly high amount of force on that mirror when driving at higher speeds, I don't believe any glue will be able to handle that.
