knocking engine
i have a 86 z28 and my engine is knocking. I havent took the car in for a diagnosis but from what i've heard it is thrown rod or a pushrod. My friend had a similar problem with his car and he said it was just a flywheel/pulley that was loose... is this possibly what is wrong with my car? also ive lost a significant amount of acceleration when driving which i believe is linked to this engine knocking. Can someone please give me some advise on what to do. If the engine is knocking then how much will it cost to repair? by the way its a crappy 305 engine. =[
