Bent clutch fork on 6speed GM?

I have a 97 transam with a 6speed. I have 70K on it. If I put it in say first and have the clutch all the way in it will pull. Like the clutch isn't all the way in. I figure it is the fork. It is pretty hard to put it in gear. How hard is it to change out the fork? I really think that is what it is.

i believe you have to remove transmission to change clutch fork and if nothing has ever been done to the car it is likely needing a new clutch and pressure plate to. not something most people would want to tackle unless they have some experience i would suggest calling around to different shops and getting some estimates.
