Cylinder Head Coolant Leak

Has anybody any idea how long "BAR'S LEAKS" or any similar product will stop a coolant leak in a cylinder head crack of 1.6 L engine and stay stopped up.
I would appreciate an answer.....

Sorry, my crystal ball is cloudy today.

Seriously, you'll be lucky if it seals at all. You'll be ESPECIALLY lucky if you don't clog up your radiator and heater core in the process.

I had good luck using it in a 4cy Ponitiac. Worked for 6 months until I traded it in. I agree with knuckles... you are buying time at the expense of other components.

There is no fix in a bottle. Fix it right, and that is fixing the cooling system and problems.

Bar's Leak will gunk up the works and cause more damage in the long run.
