97 dodge caravan 3.0

Please tell me there is an easier way to change spark plug number one on this stupid V6. I spent two hours trying to jam me arms far enough in to get the proper leverage. Ended up jacking the front end up and giong up from underneath. Needless to say my arms are several layers of skin smaller and my left hand is swollen, its not broken, must have jammed it pretty good.

Yes I removed the alt, but could not get a support brace out of the way, bolts were seized and was starting to round off.

didn't look at the library site, but I always use some sort of publication when performing any maintance I am not familar with, or if not familar with vehicle. My repair book did not mention the wiper assembly, but then the site did not mention alternator. I think will start using both resources to make sure get the "big" picture.
