ontario canada ministry / Trade ?

kinda out of area here, but gotta try. Anyone know if the Ministry of Transport in Ontario Canada charges for trading vehicles.

1 more question...is this a good trade? 1985 Corvette (210 klms), and a 1992 cavalier (220 klms) TRADE for 1994 bonneville (198 klms) and 1986 fiero Gt (v6) (160 klms), all cars are in running condition.

best to check

with your local licensing office. Transaction will be subject to used vehicle info package for each transaction and mandatory driveclean inspection. Even though no money is changing hands, the MTO MAY tax the transaction at market value.

As for the former question, I would say simply call or write them and ask. Most state/governmental agencies are very good in replying to questions.

No it's not a good trade. The Fiero is a worthless firebomb in my belief. The Bonneville for the Cavalier is a good trade (if you wind up with the Bonneville). The Vette will be worth more down the road (even though 1985 is a lackluster yer) than the Fiero ever has a chance to be.
