Please use your reply button to keep all posts on the same vehicle together for clarity.

The head likely differs between the turbo and non turbo. There are places that sell remanned heads. Or you can simply take yours off and have a machine shop go through it. It should have been done with the head gasket repair.

Chances are if the engine cooked that bad it cracked the head or may have ruined the bottom end. Sounds like hydrolock if it's spitting water out of the tailpipe like that.

Hydrolock is when you are compressing water, which is not a good thing. It can bend a connecting rod.

If the gasket blew, it probably poisoned the bottom end with crap and junk.

Does the engine crank freely?

Does it have any spark? Is it physically shooting water (or is it coolant) out of the tailpipe?

It sounds like a bad ring and/or valve if it's shooting crap out of the tailpipe.

What's the fuel pressure? Rent a gauge from any Autozone and see if there is pressure at the test port.
