water in combustion chamber
I was hoping that my son would post this information since I'm not sure of all the details. I believe the vehicle is a Honda, and is probably about 3 years old.
The thermostat stuck, and the car overheated. Now the pistons have water sitting on top of them. No water/antifreeze in the oil, so I am assuming the rings are keeping the water in the combustion chamber.
Would this possibly be just a blown head gasket? These guys are in Neva, and me in Mississippi.
I will try to get them to post (they've posted here before) with more information if needed. This isn't much information to go on.

3 year old Honda...should be covered on the manufacturer's warranty for free. That's the road I would go...even if in another city....no three year old car should blow a head gasket!
Barring that, the head could have cracked and replacing the gasket may not be good enough.

I will let them know what you've told me. If they have any more questions I will get them to post. I can't handle this for them with them being so far away.
Thanks Joe!
