Unhappy Turn Signals

Joe

Your advice prior has been extremely helpfull but I find myself in a position where the lil' womens vehicle. When she activates the turn signal some of the time it works and others it does not. When it does not work there is no indication of the signal being activated in the dash or the bulbs. Could it be the flasher or the relay itself? The vehicle is a 99 Olds Alero ifin that helps any.

Thanks

Do the hazards work normally? If they do, likely a bad flasher.

Call up any GM dealer and they will give you the location and probably have it in stock.

Could be a bad turn signal switch or a bad ground.

Since it's a 1999 vehicle, it should be covered by the GM factory warranty. See if the dealer will handle it at no charge to you. I would go that route first.
