JCORACING

HI, I AM THE OWNER OF A 1997 CHEVY CAMARO THAT IS HAVING SOME PROBLEMS, THE PROBLEMS ARE IT DIES WHEN ANY KIND OF LOAD IS PUT ON IT SUCH AS STOPPING AT AN INCLIGN OR BACKING UP THE DRIVEWAY OR EVEN A SHARP SLOW TURN. aLSO AT ABOUT 40-50 MILES PER HOUR THE ENGINE SEEMS TO KIND OF SURGE LIKE IT IS MISSING OR SOMETHING. AFTER A DIAGNOSTIC TEST IT CONCLUDED THAT WE NEEDED TO DO A TUNE UP AND CHANGE THE ALTERNATOR WHICH WE HAVE DONE BOTH BESIDES CHANGING THE CAP AND ROTOR AND THE CAR IS RUNNING THE EXACT SAME. PLEASE ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Kill the caps. No need to shout.
Check the fuel pressure with a regulated gauge to determine if it is in spec.
Good chance the bad water pump wiped out the Optispark ($$$) and that will cause your issue. Terrible design (the Optispark).
