85 Chev S-10 pickup Brake Bleeding

OK. So I replace a broken brake line successfully and figure, "I can bleed the brake lines." I jack up the left rear tire and remove it. I look at the bleeder valve and discover that it is recessed with minimal clearance (maybe 3/32") around it. Is this some kind of joke by the auto mfgr? Is there a special tool to loosen and tighten the bleeder valve for this truck? Where would I get it?

thanks,
Ian K

Sure it's not broken? I remember plenty of room around there to bleed it.

Stick a deep socket on there (1/4" drive) and use that . Typically a flare wrench works best, but you are stating there's no room around it..
