Mazda 626 Heater Core?

The heater in my 1988 Mazda 626 isn't blowing hot air--- it blows luke warm after the car is warmed up (approx. 15-20 minutes of driving) ...I've checked the anti-freeze and it's fine. Any other ideas on what I should have looked at? Does this sound like the heater core? Any ideas would be appreciated, as it's getting cold in MA!!

Likely a bad thermostat. See autolibrary.org below to see if they have the replacement procedure.

Feel both heater hoses going into the heater core. If they are both hot, the problem is with the blend door inside the car.
