'91 GMC Safari Van spark plugs

I usually do the minor tune up stuff to my vehicles myself, in the driveway and have had very few problems. The engine in this little van, however, is packed in so tight it takes me most of a day to change the plugs from underneath. Is there a better way? Please say there is.

I've got a '90 so I know what your going thru. I have found the best way is to take the front tires off. By going thru the fenderwell you can reach 4 of the 6 plugs. The other 2 are easy to get to with the cowl removed.

On some models, the "doghouse" (engine cover) comes off and you go from in there.

On others, through the fenderwell area as stated.
