My stereo doesn't work. I can turn it on, change the station, the indicator even responds as though the signal is strong or weak, but i get no sound. Surely all of my speakers didn't blow out simultaneously and its obviously not the fuse since the stereo does get power. The problem must be in the wiring between the stereo and speakers, either it has become disconnected or fried. I can't seem to figure out how to remove the stereo from the dash, and i certainly can't determine what all the wires are under the dash. Any hel would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have a 95 mercury villager with 73000 miles on it. In the past month it has begun to jump forward when I am coming out of or going into a stop. This does not happen all the time and giving a quick press to the gas will get it to stop jerking and it is fine again. My husband thought it is water in the gas tank, but then thought might not be since when this happens the rpm guage also bounces up and down slightly. This happens when in both drive or reverse and happens when the engine is cold, just starting the trip, and warm from driving for a while. I don't know much about cars but any advice would be appreciated.
