I need timing specs for a chevy sprint 1988 1.0

What are you trying to accomplish? Unless you are doing a timing belt, timing should not be changed, it is computer controlled in most cases.

You can try the links in my signature file below. If not, to the library or parts store for a manual on your vehicle.

It can be done with a timing light but make sure you do the shorting described on the firewall or hood decal.The shorting is done across two pinns on the computer connector or from another connector pin to ground.There is a myth that the computer controls the timing but by doing the short described above you are cutting off the computer control and thereby you are allowed to set the timing to specs and the timing is set to midrange of computer capture.
